Jim Pinkston is an associate with the firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University, a Master's degree in Bio-Medical Engineering from the University of Utah, and a J.D. degree from the University of Utah where he served as Vice President of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pinkston was an associate attorney at Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear. His areas of patent practice include the fields of electrical and computer engineering, advanced analog and digital circuit design, mechanical devices, software, telecommunications, micro electro-mechanical devices, aerospace, physics, medical devices, medical procedures, surgical instruments, medical imaging devices, bio-signals and bio-sensors, and neural engineering/neuroscience.
